Been away for so long...I'm changed, I'm not that girl

Broken record in my head

But anyway, hey guys

Just a quick update of what I'm doing at the moment

I'm still alive, although I don't seem to be busy with photography. Well, that's partly true. I just struggle with two problems: There are still loads of motives here in Scotland for me, I still haven't discovered everything. Problem is, if I do see something interesting I don't have my cam with me. And if I do, it's often the case that I would need my tripod to get a proper photo. Sometimes it's frustrating, mais c'est la vie

On the other hand, I struggle with a lack of creativity when it comes to conceptual photography. I don't know, I've been thinking about my two lightbulbs for three weeks now And I bet I will have a descent idea when I'm back in Germany...without my bulbs, of course

But I suppose you'll see new pictures next week or at least in the next couple of weeks in May. Uni is more or less finished. There are just one essay and two exams left, but that doesn't keep me from going out and taking pictures Only the weather can do that, although rain could be awesome sometimes

And as I'll leave Scotland in about four weeks again (wow, it's really 4 weeks ), I really want to take as much photos as I can since it will be difficult for me to find any interesting motifs in Germany. At least there's nothing in my area that's better than waterfalls Maybe, I'll try some architecture photos in Berlin...I have to learn that someday anyway

As for my exhibition: I have my first framed photo...and I love it Although it's just my tree which is definitely not my favourite picture, it's nevertheless something special But anyway, I was offered to have an official opening on the evening before the actual exhibition takes place. So, I might organise this, and I have several appointments at the local printing and framing shop to get everything sorted before I go to Germany again. And if...no when I'm back, I just need to pick up my pictures and everything's fine.

I feel and since I still can't really decide between all of my pictures I'm thinking about 25 pictures...but pictures varying in size. I don't want it to look so...homogeneous.

Okay guys, that's it for today. My pageviews are running towards 12k which makes me really proud. The next news feature will be up soon, I think that will be the case next week....my last feature from Scotland.... Can't believe that time is really running, just three more years left, it's a shame

You are so damn lucky, you really are I had been working on my flyers for the exhibition and I thought it would be a bad idea to provide a dead dA account and a working bubble account. I know, it doesn't matter actually, as most of my works are still present here. But my new works aren't and as soon as I hand out the flyers in a few days, I could use both websites for promotional purposes since I need as much advertisement for my pictures as possible

That means, I'm back at dA for a while, at least till September when the exhibition takes place. And then I'll decide what to do next. I'll delete the monthly collection as I'm going to upload the pictures seperately today. I hope you don't mind, especially those of you who faved the collection. It's an honour, because it shows that you still support my work. But I want to provide you with seperate photos from now on.

So, I abolish the Monthly Collection idea and go ahead submitting pictures normally. Hope that is in your interest as well

Okay, that's all for today. As I said, I'll upload the pictures immediately and hope you like them in a slightly bigger size as well

Hey

I have good news for you. Well, sort of anyway. As I still get new ers, although I already decided not to be an active member of dA anymore, I thought it would be unfair just to leave it the way it is. I don't know how many of you visit my Bubble page, so I thought of a Monthly Collection thing.

That means, once a month, at the end of each month to be exact, I will upload a collection of pictures I've uploaded on Redbubble. It won't be much though. I was frustrated in the past couple of days and weeks since the weather was anything but nice. But still, I have something already for you.

Free Entry, All works for Sale!!!

Oh well, the development here on dA is worse than I thought. In the last, say, four weeks three of my favourite clubs closed...*CameraArtsClub, *natures-beauty-club and, most recently, ~LandscapeClub. It's really a shame, I always loved contribute to their galleries. But I've seen the problems myself when I was an admin for the NBC. Too much work to do, too less time to avoid a huge backlog. It's very sad as the possibilities for the members decrease to promote their work, but unfortunately the current development is inescapable.

I think it's time for me to finally leave completely, although I promised to continue uploading pictures twice a month. I suppose, the old discussion we already had will arise again. But you know my opinion about it. In the next couple of days, I'm going to delete most of my photos from my gallery, but still keep a few.

For those, who are lovely members of *Close-Ups: Don't worry, I keep working as an admin there. That's the only account for me then. so, you might see me around some time again soon.

New pictures can be found on RedBubble from now on. So, check it our regularly please...if you're still interested, that is. You can even purchase my work.
